Connie's Watery Grave
‘Thanks for helping me out, Lapis!’ said Connie as she unravelled a tarp to reveal a disused pool. ‘Yeah, sure,’ the gem replied, walking over lazily to examine her task. It was late spring, and Lapis had been asked to help transport the pool to a better location across town. Apparently, whoever owned the place had heard that Connie knew the water-controlling gem, as they'd asked her to enlist Lapis’s help. The gem contemplated her options to move the water from one side of Beach City to the other. She was obviously capable of levitating massive amounts of liquid, but that method would take a lot of energy and concentration to keep the water from spilling.
